Mission Statement:

Newman Catholic Campus Ministry of East Carolina University seeks to bring students together to deepen their relationships with God, form friendships through faith, and to build a faith community within the Church. Empowered by the Spirit of God, we strive to live by the light of the Gospel through liturgy, spirituality, community service, and fellowship and to provide a supportive atmosphere of spiritual, social, and intellectual guidance that encourages personal development and embraces the diversity of our campus.

Message from Fr. Bill

When the football schedule passes the half way mark, Fall Break has rolled around, the days are getting shorter, the clocks will be turning back, its Autumn when hoodies are the common gear. The air is crisp for the morning class, warm and mild by lab time, cold and damp for night sessions. What does one wear, really?
The hymn echoes: "God of day and God of darkness... the shadows stretch and deepen, (so) come and make our darkness bright…" (Marty Haugen) C'mon then Autumn and make your changes because we can wear your colors, purples and golds are especially nice. Being made in God's image and likeness, we like the things that are profoundly bright, especially in mind, heart and spirit.
